Much to my dismay, a friend forwarded me the following article:
According to the article, there’s a good chance that Angelina Jolie will no longer be playing Lara in the Tomb Raider movies. My admiration for Angelina is no secret to anyone that knows me. So most of you know this is a HUGE disappointment for me. I was an avid fan of the Tomb Raider video game series before the movies came out. And when I found out that one of my favorite actresses was going to portray one of my favorite video game characters, I was ecstatic. It seemed that there was no better person for the part. Angie had the entire Lara Croft package: The attitude, looks, and of course body.
I’m not saying that there isn’t anyone else out there that could play Lara Croft. I just think Angelina did a damn good job. But lets face it… This is Hollywood. Out with the old and in with the new.
